Map
Map = chart! Actually I tried the Platial Maps widget for producing a useful map showing our progress – but, good as it seems to be, it doesn’t quite suit our purposes. We want a simple UK map for people to easily see where have got to and this should be visible as a feed on the right hand side like the Flickr photos. Has anyone got any recommendations?

Have you considered Mailasail.com? They provide a map tracking service and you simply email your latest position and it updates on their map which I guess you could embed in your blog. Most of the ARC fleet and other Offshore cruising fleets use this facility. I guess there might be a small premium though…
